About the organization
Short Introduction
Asociacioni per Kulture Edukim dhe Arsim (AKEA) was founded in 2004 in Kosovo, operating in the fields of education, social, cultural and youth within the framework of Islamic principles.
The Association reaches out to 50,000 people annually by organizing local clothing stands, environmental protection campaigns, Islamic dress fairs, iftars, cultural competitions and summer courses in Albania.
The number of its students reached 25,000 that are studying in the university and 75,000 more studying in high school, bringing together youths by organizing excursions, sporting events, swimming and conferences. The Association also has branches in Podujeve, Skenderaj, Prishtine and Prizren.
