About the organization
Short Introduction
Pelajar Islam Indonesia (PII) was founded in 1947 to establish a relationship between Islamic schools and students of public schools. In 1948-65, the organization fought against communism. PII is active in 27 of the 33 states in Indonesia. The association, which works in men and women branches, organizes religious seminars for students and youth meetings at least twice a year.
