About the organization
Short Introduction
Established in 1996, Islamic Relief Committee (ISRC Sri Lanka) is a leading humanitarian and development organization dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable communities across Sri Lanka. ISRC Sri Lanka implements sustainable programmes in education, healthcare, food security, livelihoods, water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), emergency response, community resilience, and social development through strategic partnerships and community-based interventions.
The organization was granted Special Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) in 2025 and continues to advance the Sustainable Development Goals through humanitarian action, advocacy, and international cooperation.
